BUS TRANSPORT
BEVAC Consulting Engineers offers
a full range of services in the frame of bus networks for public transport.
The expertise of BEVAC in the field of telecommunication and
equipping of control centres, acquired in the area of tram- and subway
networks, and its general vision on the needs related to such installations,
allowed BEVAC to expand its field of activity to bus networks.
Moreover, the expertise gained in the area of ticketing and automatic
debiting (through projects for the European Commission) and information
system for the passengers (through the preparatory study and realisation
of a prototype of a train-bus connection system in Belgium), allowed BEVAC
to profile itself as a useful and valuable partner to the public transport
organisations.

· Technical equipping of dispatching centres
· Equipping of terminal stations (control-centres, safety, closed
circuit television, radio, telephony, road signalling,
information to the passenger)
· General studies concerning ticketing and automatic debiting
systems (strategy and way of charging, technical
installation)
· Study concerning a location and identification system for
busses
· Providing advise in the area of on-board safety systems (cameras,
alarms, ...)
